Azilia Radio breaks 100 presets

This weekend the radio station hit a nice milestone of a 100 listeners who have saved the station as a preset in their Live365 player. While in college, I was a DJ at WUOG. You never really knew if anyone was listening or not. What's even cooler is that I know that I have listeners from not only the US, Canada, and Mexico but 11 countries in Europe and Australia.

I've been goofing off on the Internet for 17 years and I'm still amazed by our abilitity to connect with each other around the world.

GSP Chronicle

I just received the March issue of the GSP Chronicle. For those that don't know, this is a must have online periodical listing upcoming events, frield trial results, current standings, and informative articles. It is available every month as a PDF and is a very reasonable $25/year. The latest issue also covers the 2008 Bird Dog Hall of Fame ceremony and the second chapter of a book on judging field trails.

Sister takes 1st and 4th place

At the GSP Club of Atlanta Walking trial in Jackson, GA. Sister took 4th place in the Amateur Walking Puppy and 1st Place in Open Puppy! With 3 placements in her first 3 trials, she's on fire.

Also, congratulations to her old buddy, Maxx (aka Daddy's Boy), for 4th place in the Open Puppy.

Playlist Update and Listener Submissions

Inching closer to 24 hours of non-stop twang attack (45 minutes to go), I just added some tracks from Dolly, Austin Allsup, Blue Rodeo, Dave Alvin, Gary Louris, The Great Divide, Kasey Chambers, Mark Olson, and some new ones from Willie.

I am also pleased to add some great songs from a local Savannah band, The Train Wrecks. This is the hardest working band in town!

In addition, I received some nice submissions from the Psychobilly Kadilaks and The Wayne Mills Band. Tune in and listen out for 'em.

2008 GSPCA Eastern Classic Field Trial

The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America held the Eastern Sectional Classic in Leesburg, GA on February 2-6, 2008. I've uploaded a few photos of the action. I'll upload some videos of the great bird work shortly.

I've just added another 4 hours of music bringing the total to almost 22 hours! This batch has got some new stuff from 2008 (most notably the new DBT) and 2007. I've also added some Western Swing and a few straglers from the past 10 years. I'm digging deep for you!
